What are the limitations of the trial version?
The trial version of HPlanner has the same functionality as the full version but is limited to saving no more than 20 daily measurements. If you continue to use it after the trial period is over, you will not be able to save new measurements (but will still be able to see the history).

After purchasing you will receive a registration key to unlock the trial version. There is no need to uninstall HPlanner or download another version, and the data you've entered so far will be kept.
What is HotSyncID? Why do I need it?
The HotSyncID is entered when you install the Palm Desktop software and perform your first hotsync to your Palm. We use this ID to create an unique unlock key for your device. Therefore it's very important that you enter the HotSyncID exactly as it is (the same capitalization, spaces, periods etc) in the online registration form, or your key wouldn't work.

To check what your ID is, start the HotSync application on your Palm. The ID will be shown in the upper-right corner. Alternatively, launch HPlanner and select 'Registration...' from the menu. Your ID will be displayed in the User Name field.
What if I change my device and select different HotSyncID?
The registration key is generated for a specific HotSync ID and will not work on the new device. In this case, send us an email (from the same address you've used when registering) and include your new HotSync ID. We will generate a new key for you.
What if I lose my registration key?
Simply send us an email from the same address you've used when registering. We will resend you your registration information. There are no additional charges.
How do I enter my key? HPlanner is not accepting the registration code!
To enter your registration key, start HPlanner, click the menu button (or tap the top of your screen) and select 'Registration...'. The registration form will open. Then enter your registration key (without the dashes) and tap OK.

If you key doesn't work, a possible reason could be:
  • The HotSyncID you gave us does not match exactly to the HotSyncID of your device. You can check if this is the case by comparing the user name shown in the registration form with the user name you received from us. If the ID we have is incorrect, request new registration key as described above.
  • You have an old version of HPlanner which doesn't handle the new registration codes. In this case, download the latest release of HPlanner and try again.
I have sent you a mail several days ago and still have not received an answer!
We try to answer all mails as quickly as possible, typically within 24 hours. If you did not receive answer from us, here are several things you can try:
  • Check your junk mail folder for our e-mail. It might be incorrectly labeled as spam.
  • It the e-mail is not found there, check your spam filter settings. Make sure that is allowed or "whitelisted" so that our e-mails can get through.
